Lea Goode-Harris

For me, creating art is like breathing. It is the sweat of my imagination. It is the smoke of my prayers. Making art in any medium helps my body process emotions, feelings, memories, and the joy and sorrows of being alive. The imagery that comes through my heart and fingers has helped me speak when I couldn’t find the words to express what I was experiencing. Imagery is my first language.

I am a sixth generation Californian and have lived in Sonoma County almost my entire life. The beauty and bounty of this land, sky and water is in the fabric of my being. This place inspires me every day and is in my poetry, artmaking, and labyrinth creations.

Come visit me at the Fulton Crossing on Fridays and Weekends, or via my website, or by appointment. I look forward to sharing creative stories with you!
