I'm especially drawn to atmospheric, transitional moments that exist only in a certain light, a gesture, or the place where fluid and solid meet. I work primarily in oils and watercolor, and my recent paintings move away from strict realism toward the space where the ephemeral meets the enduring and where the surface hints at worlds below.
